Animal Fouling

All dog walkers are expected to act responsibly and clean up after their dogs.

The Village Council provides a number of Dog Bins throughout the village and on the recreation grounds. Mid Sussex District Council also provides a few bins. Mid Sussex District Council empties the bins and is also the responsible body when it comes to imposing fines, clearing up, etc.

The Village Council also provides compostable dog waste bags at three locations: Dirty Lane, John Pears Field and the Rec. These are to be used if you run out or forget your bags, but should not be taken in bulk and are not to be used by professional dog walkers.
